- Audrey Bowling and Madison Brurok, had a project “Decomposition Rates of Blue Mushroom Mycelium Substrate Composites”, won the James M. Rowley Award for best project related to water quality.
- Grady Berlik and Samiya Katoch, “Utilizing Mixed integer Linear Programing and Analytical Models to Assess the Impact of Storage on a Decarbonized Grid through Reliability and Cost Metrics – A Texas Case Study,” won the Leslie W. King Award for best project related to natural resource conservation.
- Aashritha Paluru, “Creating Coral Nurseries using Additive Manufacturing and Testing the Effects on Green Star Polyps as an Alternate Approach to Coral Reef Restoration” won the Jack Brown Award for the best project related to conservation/environmental related concerns.
